This review is for the Memory Care Enrich Program at The Sheridan. My mother became a resident in November 2019. The director of memory care is such a caring person and effective leader. She has taught me a lot about dementia. I was encouraged to text her directly with any questions and I always receive a prompt reply. The staff are attentive and patient. The activities director is clearly passionate about getting the residents engaged. Entrusting a loved one to a memory care facility is by no means easy but I feel confident my mother is being looked after in the best possible environment.

Beware, if you love your parent/grandparent do not put them here. Garbage gets left in rooms (dirty briefs/dirty gloves), individuals who have a mishap as falling on the floor do not get medically assessed just picked up off of the floor and put back into the bed or wheelchair. Staff does not answer call bells and if and when they finally do they refuse to help with what you ask them to do. Narcotics keep showing up missing and yet nurses/med techs that are on the carts are still there while management sweeps it under the rug and not reported.
