I wanted to provide a review based on employee perspective. Pauls Run only cares about themselves and not the well-being of their staff. Amongst the COVID-19 pandemic going on, my mother who has been a nurse there for many years fell ill. She went ahead and got tested and the results came back negative (thank god!). While she was waiting for her test results to come though, the Director of Nursing texted her asking her why her results were taking so long. I was appalled when this was shared because1. What made this woman think my mom controlled the timing of the results2. How inappropriate of a question it was because it had no relevance and its undermining as a whole. My mom seemed to get worse over the weekend regardless of the fact that the test coming back negative. My mom visited the ER to see what was going on. Today her Director of Nursing called her alongside HR. During the conversation it was as if they were insinuating that she was lying to them about her sickness and symptoms and pretty much giving her a forced entry back into work without realizing that she still is exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Just overall, Im disappointed and disgusted the way the nurses especially ones who given many many years to the facility are being treated.

This place only cares how much money they get out of their Residents.

My father-in-law was admitted to Paul's Run recently without our consent, though we might well have picked this facility because it's clean and appears to be professionally run. When we attempted to visit him, however, we were treated to a monumental display of arrogant, authoritarian behavior. We have put down a deposit on an assisted living apartment at The Fountains at Millbrook and will be moving him there within the next few weeks.
