Mercy LIFE Broad Street

It goes to show that when times get tough corporations show their true colors when it comes to the health and safety of the average citizen. My legally blind elderly grandmother has been rejected to be tested for the covid-19 due to the fact that Mercy Life Cares more about themselves and the all mighty dollar versus people's lives. As healthcare professionals/providers not only did they fail in their oath to take care of those we cherish the most who gave us a future in the first place, but instead they have completely disregarded human life during this tragic time. After a brief conversation they decided to berate the possible victim of covid-19 by telling them to get tested elsewhere and basically told said victim to just stay home and if they have the virus let it run its course versus getting the proper help and medical diagnosis to ensure that my grandmother doesn't have a false self diagnosis and doesn't potentially expose herself to others that may have said virus on her quest to try and get proper testing. I'm very disappointed that they would have the audacity to shun away our most precious and fragile loved ones during this horrible pandemic when their job description is soley to support and take care of their patients without giving them a sense of hopelessness as if they have been abandoned, which in this very situation is what they have done.
