Under staffed. Staff doesn't get paid enough for the work they are made to do. Staff does work they are not certified to do. Not enough staff to give proper care to the residents. Beautiful facility, but not a good place to put your loved one.

My grandparent was at this facility. It was a really bad place. She never had help and fell In the bathroom twiceOne time they pushed the door shut and she was sitting in bathroom in the darkI also had to help other people I didn't even know back to their rooms because staff would not. They are understaffed and should have more help. They should not keep taking people because not enough people to take care of them. I could go on and on about this place but it would take too long. Please don't bring your love one here.

I have been going to this building for more than 10 years. I have seen a great change and improvement in the years since Walden's View took over. The building has been renovated and has a home-like feel. The staff is very caring as well.

After many months of using an in home caregiver for mom we decided we just couldn't do it anymore. My mom was lonely an we were all snapping with each other. Since we moved her to Waldens view she is like a new person. She has made some new friends, goes to all kinds of activities they have an even has gained some weight.....thanks to everyone there it was a great decision for our family

Fortunately, my father's stay at Walden's View was only a month because the care there was less than satisfactory. They are obviously short staffed when it consistency takes 20 to 40 minutes for an aid to answer a call button. As mentioned in another post, medicine was not given as prescribed. The food served is poor quality and tasteless. I ate many meals there with my father and did not once see a piece of fresh fruit or a fresh vegetable. The residents complain about the food but are ignored; they are also ignored when complaining about such basics as towels which are so thin and rough, most people would use them as scrub rags. I had to ask three times for a towel for my father and it took 7 days for someone to finally get him one. But, my most serious complaint about Walden's View is that were is no dedicated Director of Nursing. Maybe if there was, my father's hospital report after a fall would have been conveyed correctly to me. Instead Walden's View told me all x-rays and tests came back normal when in fact he had a serious and very painful spine injury that went untreated for several days. Even worse, after another fall a week later, in which my father broke his hip, he was picked up, placed in a chair and asked if he was ready for lunch. Given the angle of his leg/foot and the pain he was in, I asked the med-tec if his hip was broken - she didn't have enough experience or education to tell me. So, I had to call the ambulance to take him to the hospital. Please beware of Walden's View when looking to place your loved ones.
