You will not find a home for animals with this place. They turn you away instead. They are a bunch of liars when they say on their website they will welcome an animal and give them a home. They will not. They don't care about animals. I saw 10 - 12 people in the office today just sitting around doing nothing and flippantly turned a rescued cat away who only weighs 5 pounds. They wouldn't even look at her. The one worker as I was leaving told me to go to hell! DO NOT MAKE DONATION to these liars! They are scam artists!

Three years ago we adopted 2 older cats (age 7 and 10 at that time) from Animal Rescue. They adjusted to us right away - have never had health problems and are very loving (and spoiled).

Staff here are so willing to help introduce the animals, let us know their backgrounds and personalities and answer our questions. All staff were volunteers and it surprised me how much they knew. Dogs were running and playing in the enclosure so we were able to see how they interacted with the other dogs. Never felt rushed or hurried and they spent the better part of an hour with us. Now the hard decision, which dog will we choose?

They could not take the birds that were stuck in out hitch but then she told me she would call me back and find someone that would take them
