My father was placed in this facility because their sister facility, Church of God Home in Carlisle, didn't have any long-term male beds available. Towne Centre was nothing like the previous facility. My father, a former State Trooper, begged to come home and was afraid of retaliation whenever we advocated for him. My mother, a former RNAC in a nursing home facility, and myself, a former Case Manager with the Office of Aging have never before seen such apathy from staff members. They blamed it on the high number of agency nurses they had. That doesn't negate their responsibility to treat every resident with dignity and respect. My father was considered a two person assist. They didn't follow those guidelines and allowed one aide to bath him. Knowing he had weakness in his legs, they didn't have a shower chair available either. He fell and suffered a fracture. This is unacceptable. I would not send my loved one to this facility.

Poor care. This facility gave us nothing but trouble while rehabbing my grandmother. Attitude from the head nurse and CNA'S. Laundry was promised to be done and never was. 2 showers/week were promised and never happened. Left my grandmother with food all over herself. The call button had an average response time of 40 minutes. When we tried to take pictures of the mess that she was left in, staff grabbed our phones and attempted to delete the pictures like they were just trying to cover thing us. My grandmother is diabetic an was promised a restricted diet and that never happened either. Won't put anyone else here ever again.
