Milford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

If I could give 0 stars I would. My aunt was in this rehab after she had brain surgery which made her blind. She needed clothing in order to do her rehabilitation. Someone stole her clothing and other items she had in her room. When we brought it to the manager attention, the manager said here 'call this number it's lost and found. We're not responsible for her property.' Mind you this was for her rehabilitation she needed. That didn't matter to this rehab center. When it came time for her to check out the rehab center they waited 10 days after her insurance company coverage expired so they could collect the deductible. It's Sick to see a place steals from a women who is terminal ill and blind. If you care for your loved one Don't place them in this facility. The bad reviews are 100% correct.

I'm honestly upset with the fact that I can NEVER get ahold of my family member, who's currently dying, in your care. I wasn't going to write a review, but in this case, I must.

First, let me share the same feeling Im sure your having if your looking at my review. Absolutely no one wants to place their loved one in a Healthcare/senior facility. It is never an easy decision and its heartbreaking. When you bring Him or her there the first day, your loved one is frightened as are you. These strangers your entrusting your loved one to are all smiling and reassuring you that everything will be ok but your overwhelmed with the all information theyre giving to you as well as you are both overcome with a mix of emotions. At least this was my initial experience, but I want to tell you these strangers treated my Dad like family. He could be pretty tough, difficult at times, but they were still patient and caring. They found ways to meet his needs and keep him as comfortable and safe as they could. My Dad recently passed but I cannot put into words how impressed, grateful and blessed I feel with his end of life care. Their gentle words to him and exceptional hands on care was comforting.
