ManorCare Health Services-Jersey Shore

My grandmother was in Manor Care Jersey Shore. Every staff member is very attentive, caring, smiling, knowledgeable, and really... the best. They updated on my grandmother's condition very promtly each time. I felt very welcomed every time I visited the facility. The nurses are always around, very accessible and come by very often. I witnessed each one of them interacting with residents with compassion and love. Because of all of their hard work and care, my grandmother was very safe and comfortable until she passed away. I appreciate all their care and I would certainly highly recommend Manor Care Jersey Shore to anyone. In addition, my grandmother did not speak English at all. They made a binder-ful of pictures and Korean translation specially for my grandmother. All nurses downloaded a translation app on their smart phones in an effort to communicate with her. I was very, very impressed at their effort and time they put in. They went above and beyond! I would say you can totally trust them with your loved ones. Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.

Poor communication with family. My mother, who is 81 years old has horrible arthritis and fell and broke her leg recently. I know that hydrocodone is a concern among Drs, but Dr Chapla cut her off 3 days ago. I repeat that she's 81. She's been taking it for 15ish years! Right now, she's in major withdrawal! This is totally unnecessary and unacceptable!

My father is a frail man in his eighties with advanced Parkinsons, and other medical problems. He is a fall risk. Dad was a patient at this facility for about five hours. In that time he fell getting out of bed unsupervised, and suffered a life threatening head injury.
