This place could use an update, some residents carpet is VERY discolored and ruined. Multiple windows handles are broken and windows cannot be opened. Alot of walls have nail patches that need repainted and walls that are scuffed badly.

For the most part I love my job and the people I work with! We have a very caring staff, especially everyone I work with! I'm always hearing from family members about how clean the place is, and how good we do even in hectic times. Anyone thinking of sending a loved one here, they will be well taken care of :) the only thing that would make it better is more staff, so if you are in need of a job and like this kind of work, come on down! We always have room for more caring employees whether you would like to work on the floor as an aide, in the kitchen as a cook, or doing housekeeping, we could use you!!

Not enough people employed. Personal opinion. 3 people quit in the last 24 hours! The cook has no help, housekeeping helps clean up breakfast and sometimes lunch, which takes away time to clean, 1 house keeper to do the entire building daily. Caregivers will work housekeeping because there is not enough employees. People call off and no shows quite a bit. I just think its really ashame that management cannot do a better job. The employees are what makes your company keep running and they feel unappreciated! One way to get new employees to come in and keep them more long term than short term would be to offer some kind of health care, maybe acouple vacation days, there is no room to move up it would be nice for some college employees to be offered office internships to help them move up and on in the world. Caregivers are non stop when they get to work, other facilities offer a higher pay, caregiving at this place usually starts at 8.75. Seriously it amazes me that the hard work that employees put in here goes unnoticed. Also employees should not have to do other employees work. There should be enough employees working the cook should have a helper, there should be 2 housekeepers daily, caregivers are on a tight schedule. Residents are awaken at 5:00 am due to 2 caregivers and a med tech on 1 floor so they will all be ready by breakfast. There is usually 2 activities planned for the day but alot of residents do not attend. Most just nap on and off all day its sad that this is their life. Residents eat dinner at 5 and are usually getting ready for bed at 6pm, and residents are checked at 1 & 3 throughout the night. Because of the lack of employees residents do get the basic care noone can take them outside in the summer for walks, I have been asked this and there is no time. Housekeeping has no extra time to scrub the very dirty carpets and furniture in the lobby they do the everyday sweeping and bathrooms etc. If this is a place you are considering for a family member this place is a decent place and most residents seem to like it. Just not a very good place to work.
