Am a staff member here and everyday I love coming to work. condusive work environment and positive vibes from staff patient centered care is our goal.

Five days ago my mom moved toSunrise Assisted Living. We all feared that it would be a heartbreaking experience for her to leave her home but she doesnt miss it one iota! She said she feels like she came into a lot of money and bought a mansion staffed to take care of her every need. The staff is the most cheerful, kind-hearted and professional people Ive ever seen! Later in her first day she asked Am I dreaming? She had always vowed to never go to a nursing home but after several falls and mishaps she reluctantly accepted the inevitable. And we are all so happy she is safe in a clean, bright, cheerful place. I stayed the first three nights with her and can attest to the high quality of the food, too! I am so grateful for the overwhelming kindness shown to my mom, who deserves all the best!

GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE THEY ALLOW CATS. My mother is living there, but they won't allow me to see her. I went there 12/09/2018 to have a dinner for her 98th birthday. we were talking together in her private room that costs her over $8,000 A MONTH.I found out the director did not respect her privacy when the 4 policeman showed up to escort me OFF THE PREMISES because I said , 'Mom, ain't it a shame what you put up with when your guns are at home , hanging on the wall!' {It's a joke} Never had the dinner, could not see her for Christmas, was barred for Easter, and I was told by Heidi that they would contact the police if I tried to see her for Mother's Day. I love you Mom. I will see you someday. Don't make you or your loved one live in this kind of agony in their last days. the time will come when all you have are memories. Is this the kind of memories you want to have? Is there someone out there that can help me with this idiocy? What about her rights? What about my rights?

Most of the staff is very rude especially to the patients

I don't know how someone reviewed the staff as rude and inattentive. Literally, the nicest staff I have ever met and each and every one of them has become dear friends with my mother!
