We visited Arden Courts of Susquehanna as a possible place for our mother.  We were given a tour of one of the residents living area.  The place was nice and clean but none of the residents interacted with us. They seemed like they were over medicated.  We then sat down with a representative to ask questions and find out more about the place.  One of the first questions we were asked by her was when we were going to medicate my mother.   That is when it clicked for me.  All the residents were medicated to keep them calm.  I had a very bad feeling when we left the place.  I then started to ask around to friends and colleagues in health care and all I heard were negative reports of how the residents are over medicated.  Several friends told me that they removed family members form Arden courts and placed them in other facilities.  In the other facilities after medications were decreased or discontinued their loved ones began to interact and come to life again

The best option in the area if you are in need Memory Care. Our family was always at peace knowing our father was so well cared for during his time at Arden Courts. We were so fortunate to have found family in the Arden Courts staff. I would not recommend any other community and during our time searching from the best fit for dad, we toured many facilities. Arden Courts staff.... THANK YOU for all you have done for our family. You are angels and made dads last months of his life so very special. Arden Courts at Susquehanna will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I recently worked at Arden courts..they say Memory care is all we do. / We know. We understand. We can help.' lmao.. DONT EVER WORK THERE.. They pay 11.00 and in a couple months u get 30 to 50 cent more. They make you clean the unit knowing housekeeping is suppose to do that.. ok its filthy in there I have plenty of pictures and videos.. THEY FEED THEM RESIDENTS NASTY FOOD , their clothes be filthy.. They try to make you be respectful but they dont respect their workers.. I waited until I got hired at another job just to quit. THE NURSES GOSSIP ABOUT EVERYBODY. The families dont respect you but they always want you to smile . Ask about Arden courts before u apply here their reputation is bad all around . And the lady that hires you lies a lot. She will tell you its no turn over rate.. the co workers, they complain about the pettiest stuff. They dont train nobody right.. THE STATE NEEDS TO STEP IN. lmao people quitting here like crazy.. I even called the state on them because they had 3 workers working the whole building.if you wanna be pushed around and feel like a slave go here but if not then DONT WORK THERE.. LOVE MY NEW JOB
