Redstone Highlands is a family. That simple statement speaks volumes because its hard to find a job that you can call a 'family'. Working here has helped me grow in many aspects of my life and I truly am grateful to be able to say that. We are a team here and we take that role seriously. I am honored and will always speak highly of Redstone because this place is a home...away from home.

Unacceptable care! Necessary requests for meds ignored!! Numbing cream for dialysis NOT given so half of the time she was there my mom had to endure horrific pain when at dialysis getting the needles put in. Eye drops for dry eyes not given even though they showed me a box of them on their cart. Random physical therapy, so how was she to get strong enough to come home. Food trays getting mixed up with other patients trays. What IF someone had an allergy to the food they brought? Rooms were small with no privacy. Roommate coughing ALL day and night so no rest or sleep. Sorry I did not see ALL these reviews when picking a temporary place for my mom after a fall. She was there to get strong and have rehab for a broken wrist, which doctor never came in for that, so nothing done. Not impressed at all and would NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! If I did not HAVE to give a star in order to post, it wouldn't have gotten the one star i gave. :(

Horrible place to work. The residents were treated very poorly by staff. The Administrator saw the residents as dollar signs then actual people. Told families anything they wanted to hear to get them in the door. Staffing was short at a consistent basis. Residents weren't properly taken care of and it was well known some nurses were stealing pills.

I have been an employee of Redstone Highlands for almost 4 years. I very much enjoy my position as a nurse with this company and highly recommend for anyone seeking employment in the area or a place to call home for their loved one.The mission and values of the organization is what I believe sets us apart from other facilites in the area. Redstone sets out to make a difference in the lives of their residents and employees as well as the community. We are very active within the community with our many fundraisers and collaboration with the local universities. Redstone places a high priority in assisting continuing education which has been a huge help for me as I finish my Bachlor's of Science in Nursing. Another major value of Redstone is family. Redstone has programs to assist their employees and helps in anyway they can. I love the missions and values Redstone stands for and the work environment. I give Redstone five stars for employer and caregiving.
