My mom had major surgery and this is the only place within reason that would take some of the items she had. So she was to be tube fed 5 times a day, wound care 2 times a day and meds throughout the day ! My mom arrive here the evening of Aug 3 and I went to see her Aug 4 at 130 pm and I was not happy. 1 tube feeding, no meds and wound care was not done! I literally showed the nurse how to take care of my moms wounds which is why we sent her to a facility ! I wouldnt let this place care for my dead dog! Very unhappy,

The folks at Powerback did a wonderful job caring for my father in a challenging situation. The administration, the nurses, the aides, and the therapy staff were very attentive and responsive to the unique situation we were in, and treated my father and our family and friends with the utmost respect. I dealt mostly with speech therapy and nursing, so I can't speak too much about the specifics of the rest of rehab services. While no place is perfect, this was the second rehab we were in, and I would have chosen this one again if needed over the one we were in last time. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thanks to all the staff at Powerback for the compassionate care you gave.

Here I sit on my first day ever in a Powerback Rehab facility recovering from a recent back surgery. It is midnight and I am in tears. During the day, I am supposed to be taking 14 different medications including 2 kinds of insulin and several other medications for diabetes, as well as high blood pressure medication and pain medicine for the recent back surgery. So far, I think I have gotten 4 and the insulin doses were not adequate. Everything else I was told was either not available from their pharmacy, was not on the discharge instructions, or that the orders had been changed by someone on their staff whose shift was over. I asked that this be referred to a supervisor, I don't know if it. Ever was or not. I keep asking for help and getting told I'll just have to wait until morning. Additionally I have requested and been unable to get ice for a cold drink, a box of tissues, or necessary water for my cpap machine. What am I supposed to do, I am helpless.

Needed to go to a rehab facility after back surgery at Chester County Hospital. Visited a couple of places in Chester County prior to surgery. Settled on Powerback Rehab. Great decision! New, modern facility with spacious accommodations, professional, courteous, friendly staff, and very good food. Excellent staff to client ratio. PT and OT staff did a terrific job. The nursing staff was particular sensitive and compassionate. I highly recommend Powerback Rehab. You wont find a better place! I hope as they grow that they can maintain the same excellence.
