Amazing community. They really go the extra mile for the residents and their families. Each resident is treated like they are family. They are EXPERTS in delivering evidence based care for older adults with memory impairment. Couldn't recommend this place more!

My mother is a resident at South Mountain Memory Care. We moved her to SMMC following a stay at a larger local memory care facility. The smaller size facility allows the staff to give her much more attention and get to know her. She is treated kindly and is encouraged to participate in the daily activities. The favorite activity seems to be batting a balloon around the activities circle. At the larger facility it was easier just to let her sit in her room. The health care team at SMMC does a great job noticing small issues and recommending care when needed.

I am so glad that my family and I found South Mountain almost two years ago. We all love the fact that it is small and that the whole staff is very invested in the care of the residents. Everyone knows each other and there is always someone available to help you and your loved one. It is a lovely building from the individual rooms, the living room, dining area, back garden and the wonderful front porch. South Mountain is very family oriented and provides a home for all the residents.
