Elkins Crest Health & Rehabilitation Center

I like the experience here and everyone was very nice, from the nurses to the cleaning staff and therapy. I was treated with dignity and respect. I like being here! I would recommend it to other people. The only problem I found with this place is that the nurses are understaffed.

This experience has given me hope and made me excited about life again. When I first got here, Stacey made me feel so comfortable. At first I was nervous because Im such a home body, but I met a couple doctors and nurses who encouraged me to let them know everything that was going on with me. I am already 90% healed because of them. I also met the CNAs who are so kind and funny, every single one I met was always happy to see me. One of the Nurses even changed my entire view on diabetes.I was also impressed with the whole Therapy team, Meghan was very good, she had a way about her that made me want to push myself, Jen was also fabulous and very caring, Shannon was really good, she gave me so many ways to improve even after I go home. Brittney and Chanell were great too, what impressed me is that they all knew their job so well.Everything here was amazing right from the start and Im becoming even more independent, I can actually do things for myself, and I am headed home today after only being here for 1 week! Again, this experience was so positive and I realize I can get out of my house and start helping people again.

I came here because they sent me here for therapy. It took a month and I improved a lot. Everyone has been very good to me. Everyone is very nice and I do the best I can. I will continue to do the best I can when I go home. John is tough, but he is helpful and got me stronger and where I needed to be in order to go home. Lindsay is the sweetest girl. I have a lovely nurse named Tonya. She goes above and beyond and always thinks ahead. She always gets me what I asked for. She is wonderful. Simone is also wonderful. Amanda is wonderful as well. She is the speech therapist and philosopher. I am going to miss Brittney, Katie, and Dan too.

I really enjoyed my stay, and I wish I could have stayed longer. All of staff members including the therapy staff members were fantastic.

They give great care and help with clearing up health problems, Therapy sees to it you can have a better future for yourself, Nursing brings you cold water if you want it and help you out to get you a better future for yourself. They do your laundry, they give you good food, and give you your medication to help you out. They help you get bathed, washed, shaved, dressed. Another thing thats good is they give you a room thats air-conditioned. They also make your bed for you and the floors are kept clean. I would return here if I needed to.
