We just recently moved my mom to the memory care unit and we are very happy so far. The staff has been very kind and helpful. My mom is always clean and well taken care of. Chi Chi is one of the employees and she is awesome! I haven't gotten to know a lot of the others yet, but they all seem very caring with the residents. We had a birthday party there for my mom in a private dining room. They decorated it for her and showed a lot of care and patience for dealing with a fairly large group of us there. I was thankful for all that they did to make it special for her.It is under new management and they are making a lot of improvements to the facility. I hope they are able to bring this beautiful mansion feel back to it's original glory. I love the atmosphere, but it really could be amazing.

My mom was moved in on a Monday, on Tuesday I wasnt there. On Wednesday at 11:30 AM she had a doctors appointment. I called in the morning prior to picking her up. I was in her room at 10:30 and was appalled at her condition, she wasnt ready, she smelled like a Port-O-Potty. The room reeked of urine. She wasnt taken care of for 3 days. She told me she wanted to slit her wrists and die. I got her out of there. My car smelled like urine. She went to the doctors we explained what happened. After doctors appointment I picked up her medicine and she didnt go back. My mother is almost 94 years old, has had 2 strokes.
