I am a employee at Ambler Extended Care Center and have worked here for several years. Its an amazing place to work, my co-workers are all a pleasure to be around, and our residents are amazing. the facility has great food, activities and a cozy environment that all would love.

The nursing and therapy staff are great especially Charita and Patrick. They treat me extremely well and with kindness! Everyone is friendly and has made me feel very welcomed.

This facility may look dated on first view but it is the cleanest and most caring I have ever seen. Dont judge a book by its cover. I have worked in various nursing homes and never saw a cleaner, better cared for facility. My brother went in here at a young age and was very upset. The staff in every area treated him with kindness and respect. Rehab did a fantastic job trying to make him more mobile and functional. Social work and administration were caring. Nursing took good care of him and everyone was pleasant and happy. Even the food was good. He stayed clean and comfortable. He was able to get information from his nurses. I thank them for his excellent care.

I was delighted to find that my friend is in a place where she can participate in a variety of activities. The Admissions Director Kim was easy to reach and very helpful in navigating my visit. All in my first visit I was introduced to Activities Director, Dawn, who interviewed my friend with me, two social workers, the Occupational Therapist, and Jenny, the receptionist. All were very friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and attractive, with outside space for my friend to safely use independently. It has a family feel to it and all the staff drew me into the family.

Ambler Extended Care Center has been the most helpful and compassionate help with my mother-in-law in a system that is broken. I called Kim, the Director of Admissions, for help and at my wits end. She was professional (as were all the people that helped the transition for my M-I-L) and helped me understand the care they give. The facility was clean, neat and amazingly well lit. I remember being there years ago and this is nothing like I remembered. I was so grateful for the guidance they gave and I couldn't have navigated this without Kim, Cindy, Maria and everyone behind the scene at the center.I just have to say to any one looking to place their loved one, any place you go will have problems but Ambler Extended Care Center will work with the family to make your loved one comfortable and well care for. Can not say enough good things about this place.

The Staff here is amazing! Everyone from Kim, the Admissions Director to Cherelle the Social Worker to the Nursing Staff to Jenny the versatile Receptionist... they are ALL AMAZING and FRIENDLY! The home is small but that is what we liked about it, much more personal than larger homes. I would definitely recommend!

Great place to work at. Everyone is like family. Love coming in to hear a new story from a resident. Always good to learn things that happened in the past. The best is to see them smile and enjoying themselves when musoc is playing. Love to participate in the activies with the resident.

This place is so dirty, and the people be so rude especially dietary. Dietary should of been shut down,they give the residents anything even if they dropped it on the floor, they still serve it.

I appreciate the staff members who have been phenomenal in caring for my mother. The Admissions Director Kim Webster was very gracious and informative and really convinced me that my mom would be in good hands while there. She was warm and sold me on their excellent physical therapy department and really made my mom feel at home right away. Two nurses in particular have been outstanding in their sincerity and great care - Dee and Donette. The social worker Cherelle, has also been very helpful and very supportive. The activities coordinator Dawn is awesome, and Christine Vincent extremely forthright in working with the Insurance company on my mom's behalf. Two great CNA's are Latoya Slayton and Cecilia (CeCe). Thank you all, your kindness and work ethic has made the difference!

Ambler Extended Care Center has just been rated a 5 Star facility by CMS. The staff are wonderful and treat residents as if they were their own family member. The building has just been renovated and is beautiful.

I visited today and other times I see often and faces are dirty and clothes are dirty. One patient at mucus running on his face food dried up on his clothes. Attendant ignore patient asking for help.

This is the only medical facilities in my experience that doesn't have hand sanitizer stations. My mother in law had no water in her bathroom and was forced to use a potty chair. She was unable to wash her hands and was uneasy about eating . I asked about hand sanitizer and was directed to a small bottle at the reception desk.

My mother in law was there 2 months ago waited forever for nurses to come to her aid horrible experience soon as u go thru front doors u smell of urine her room was never sanitized women next bed fell out of bed took a very long time to get her care when they did they put her in another bed next door and forgot her horrible I'm sending letter to director and pa health dept
