My parents live in the independent living building. They have been there for about 4 years. My mother has made many friends there, but not many men for my father to be around. The food they serve is very small portions, usually over seasoned, & sometimes inedible. They frequently run out of the food that they put on their menu for dinner, so residents have to order whatever is left. Clean, friendly, provides housekeeping, cable t.v., phone. Im sure there are other places for that kind of money which are better. Assisted living side has poorly defined definition of what assisted living is supposed to provide.
