Summerfield Estates Retirement Community

My Dad is super excited about moving in to Summerfield Estates. We are very impressed with how friendly everyone is and the nice facilities! Our lunch today was excellent.

I had a virtual tour with Annett and feel as though I was there. I am excited to make the move and looking forward to being there.

I've been resident in Sunshine's Summerfield Estates retirement community for more than three years. With an MBA and 30 years of management experience, I continue to be impressed with the measures our management takes to safeguard our health and well-being. And not just in times of crisis like this one. On an ongoing basis, in addition to our thorough weekly cleaning from our Housekeeping Staff, we also have a Common Area Housekeeper making sure that elevators and game rooms and railings are not just dusted but wiped clean and our hallways and exercise rooms vacuumed. However, the extraordinary measures our Staff are going to in order to keep us socially distant, individually occupied, and well-fed deserve a special mention. Our food here has always been consistently well thought out, nicely prepared, and beautifully presented. But to achieve that, put each meal into an individual box, and still get them to 150 rooms still warm has to set some type of record. I didn't take a picture of my breakfast this morning, but it was tasty and beautiful with a scrambled egg, sausage links, pancake topped with strawberries, and mandarin oranges accompanied by hot coffee and juice and was a delightful way to start another day of self-imposed isolation in my pretty apartment.With wi-fi, the Internet, streaming services, and daily puzzle packages from our Activities Director, I couldn't be bored if I wanted to be. With this kind of care, I am finding it easy to stay safe, occupied, and comfortable, and I continue to be grateful that I made the decision to move here.

I have been living in Summerfield Estates in Tigard Oregon for over 1 year. Cannot praise our entire staff enough for providing all that live here with excellent service from the delicious food to the caring attutudes by all of them. It feels like like a big family. So happy and feeling lucky to have found a home here near my children and old friends. Kevin , Glenn, Angie and Mindy are wonderful in that they try to meet our every need. I have recommended Summerfield Estates highly as a great place to live to all my friends. One dear friend has already moved in!! Thank you, one and all for providing this wonderful life style!
