River Park Senior Living

I have worked at this Community for nearly 3 years. I worked at Deer Meadow when it was managed by another company. I can say that this transition has gone smooth. In the little time that River Park Senior Living has been operating, there is definitely a positive change on multiple levels. The residents are more engaged in socializing and activities. The building itself has a more positive milieu and the new management team are all striving for excellence and customer service. I am proud to remain a part of the River Park team.

Just not a good place for family you care about, uncle has lived there for a few months now. He complains the food is horrible now and the lead cook is terible to him. No one listens to him when he talks of concerns. He likes the care givers allrighty, but the new nurse has no clue what shes doing. Going to start looking for a new place for him. He was liking it there before the new company started running it in the ground.

My mom has lived here for over a year and a half. I thought deer park management was bad, well the 'Admin' team at river park are terrible. They definitely play favorites. If your family member needs assisted care or wheelchair bound they will try to kick them out of the facility. 3 wheelchair bound people all got move out notice at once that I personally know of including my mom. They said my mom was a 3:1 when I have never seen 3 people assisting her. The most I would see was 2 when they would finally answer the call light. When senior services was there doing a plan with my mom her case worker said this facility was the 2nd worst in yamhill county and they would never place any one there. I could say so much about this place but wont out of respect. Most of the caregivers are amazing. The front desk girl should smile once in awhile and pretend to like her job. I dont even know why they have a nurse, she cant even do wound care. Just save yourself the stress and find a different assisted living for your loved ones.
