I worked at this place for a couple years and used to love it! Thought it was a great place to work or live but just recently a new management team came in and dont seem to care about the staff nor do they care about what the residents they bring in to this assisted living! Most the time they are short staffed and dont have the time to meet the requriments the residents need! In my opinion if it wasnt for the few awesome cargivers, medtechs, and kitchen staff that place would have been shut down! While the management is concerned with how the building looks and makeing it look like a nice place to be the rest of the staffed is busting their butts getting burnt out to make sure all residents are safe! Theres no appreciatation besides a couple snacks here or there! Management is ao concerend in making so many changes they cant seem to make up their mind in how to run things, every day is was somthing different, was like walking on egg shells not knowing what we can or cant do! The communication is absolutly horrible there pretty much is none! They will change your schedule and not tell you! They will cut your hours and not tell you! There were numours times somthing happend with a resident on one shift and no one on the other sifts have no clue cause it wasnt documented or passed on! If your intrested in working or even mobing your family member in to morrow heights I highly suggest talking to a few of the residents on what its like living there! Most feel like its a prision! Also dont trust everything the mangagement is telling you they tell you what you wanna hear to please you! Morrow heights used to be an amazing place and felt like family but now its like a prison being ran by people who only care about looks!

I have over four years of personal experience with this place. I know a great many of the residents who live there, as well as many of the staff who work and have worked there. I have volunteered my time there on many occasions. Although at one time this was a thriving community, recent changes in the management there have completely changed the direction of the facility, which used to have the needs of it's residents as its #1 priority. Now it seems the current management cares only about how they look in the eyes of the Parent Company, Frontier Management. The residents are now suffering for the sake of the Executive Director's wanting to 'look good' in the eyes of Upper Management. Workers there, lovingly compassionate, are horribly overworked with last-minute shift changes leaving them no time for their personal lives. For five years they had the most wonderful Activities Director whom the residents loved, but recently was abruptly let go because apparently she 'wasn't living up to Frontier's expectations.' I happen to know this woman and can tell you that nothing could be further from the truth; if in fact this was the case, you'd think they would have figured it out a little sooner than in the 5 years she worked there. The staff does have some wonderful personnel, but with the new in-house management's perspective trading resident's needs for corporate eye-wash, I suspect a mass exodus of the faithful employees is inevitable. Sad to see that a once caring and wonderful community I had once considered placing my loved ones in has gone the way of corporate greed; I would cross this facility off your list if you wanted to see your loved ones in good hands.

The executive director is a great reflection of how a community needs to be ran, she has a kind and gentle demeanor yet she is real and up front in my opinion shes the perfect combination she has the biggest heart ( you can see it in her eyes when she talks ) and I know good people when I meet them. It is my understanding she is new in her role at Morrow Heights, i took some time to chat with the wonderful staff on duty while I was in visiting and I learned that in the short time she has been there she has made very positive strides to better the lives of the residents as well as making sure that the staff is taken care of from keeping their break room stocked full of snacks and drinks and frozen foods so they can pick their protein she also has had food catered in and brings coffees to the staff regularly. Change is hard on people and she understands that, with all that is on her plate she is never too busy to sit with residents and ensure that they are heard. I know that because I witnessed it myself. What a great place to be.

I had the chance to tour this facility and noticed the very personal touch that the entire staff from Maintenance, Housekeeping, Management and everyone in between treated every Resident with. The facility is located in a very beautiful setting and seems very well maintained and managed.
