Touchmark is a beautiful place for independent living but weve had numerous issues when it comes to assisted living. The problems weve faced over the past year are far too many to list but here are a few: paying for care that is inconsistently delivered and constantly increased when basic services arent delivered consistently, high staff turn over even before Covid, communication challenges with management with promises for improved care and spotty delivery (ie: moves to a Parkinsons unit for a Parkinsons program that they never delivered), lost clothes, lost bedding, my father being left to sleep on a bare mattress (no sheets) after having a urination accident (3 times in the last week alone) and staff not wearing masks when dealing with my father at close range.

Touchmark offers outstanding retirement living at the west hills Portland property, given my time there when visiting my 93 year old father who is at independent living. Staff are engaged and supportive. They know and care about every resident.The facility is amazing given a health club, multiple dining options, and views. It has a homey resort feel with great vitality. Im thankful to have found Touchmark for dad. Its assuring to know he has a high quality of life, and strong options for graduated care.
