NorthWest Place

Moved here with my partner in November of 2017. We share a large 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor with windows facing north. This is an Independent Living Senior Retirement Community of 46 units with approximately 52 residents. The building is well cared for & maintained to a high standard. Restaurant provides a very good service & high quality with a wide range of meal choices. Happy Hour every Friday afternoon! Staff & management are well versed in dealing with a wide range of different issues from the residents (when range from 63 to 101 years old with the same range of health issues) in a professional & caring manner. This is an independent living facility but aides are allowed to provide assistance to the residents when needed. 4th Floor Terrace is a great place to sit & relax & enjoy a glass of wine & the good weather with friends and/or family. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants walk ability, nice amenities, secure parking, different floor plans & a staff that really cares!PS. We moved out in March of 2019. Upper management staff changes and the constant turnover of dinning room staff along with issues with the food, made our continued stay untenable. Also the annual increase in rent with no improvement in services was an issue.

This is a wonderful independent living community, caring and thoughtful staff. My mother has had the best time here - we truly enjoyed the place.
