My experience has been amazing. Working with the Staff, I have found only caring hearts for the residents. Many of these staff members have had a loved one who has been in an assisted living facility or in Memory Care. Pelican Pointe offers programs that are meant to enhance a Residents life through the continuance of independence and a family environment. Pelican Pointe is exactly the kind of place I will want to be in when it is time for me to accept my limitations to self care and my ability to maintain a home.

My grandma has lived at Pelican Pointe for 3 years now and she is thriving in the memory care community. They do activities that she enjoys and looks forward to being a part of. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my granny the way she deserves to be!

As a former employee, I recommend finding a better place for your loved ones. This place is almost always under legal staffing limits. The employees here would rather sit and gossip than take care of your loved ones. Background checks are not always ran on those they hire. Employee turnover is a joke, and most the employees do not do their job right. Activities for your loved ones are hardly ever done as scheduled, and promised.

I just moved here 2-3 weeks ago; this place is great! Has great rooms and activities. The rooms are clean and easy to move around in. The building and its yards are beautiful, and the workers here are really friendly and know what to do.The only thing is the cooking; the flavors are great with good spicing. However, the orders are constantly messed up, not by the ordering staff. The refrigerator for patients should be continually stocked with diabetic foods and desserts; I would like to get a sugare-free ice cream later at night, but can't because it is locked away.
