Looks aren't everything. Although this facility is old and a physical challenge in some areas, most notably it's narrow pre ADA era bathroom doors, making access nearly impossible using a walker, it is a treasure of caring, compassionate and competent direct patient care. The Staff went out of their way to accomodate my dietary needs, even shopping for items they normally did not carry. Everyone I encountered from Housekeepers, Direct Care staff, Administrative personnel, Dietary and P.T./O.T. Therapy staff - all were professional, competent and genuinely caring, making my stay just what I needed to heal and prepare for my final surgery. I will request Laurel Hill for any needed future stay.
