What are they trying to cover up with new web page and only two reviews they have a law suit for $1.2m from 2016 for 3 wrongful deaths still going through court makes me wonder how bad there reviews were before new web page

Staff are insensitive and careless. Calling family yesterday to discuss funeral arrangements is tacky and heartless! We were afraid our loved one had passed away. No mention that the resident was healthy and fine. We had to call the doctor to find that out. I don't expect this review to stay long, because heaven forbid there is some honesty in how this company operates - notice the new website date.

My wife Lois moved into Southtowne just over two years ago. This wasn't an easy decision though I'm relieved to say it was the right one. I visit just about every day. The thing that means the most to me and our two daughters is how the staff not only provide good care but also talk with and kid around with Lois and the other residents in the community. Hearing laughter, fun and meaningful conversations between the staff and residents is commonplace. The environment has a good feel and the staff are there when needed. It frustrates our family to read some bad Google reviews about Southtowne from names of people that we don't recognize because we know everyone due to frequent visits. Makes us wonder who these people are and what their beef is because we haven't heard of any other families that have concerns about the environment. This is what sparked me to leave some feedback which I generally don't do. What I can say from considerable experience is that Southtowne takes great care of Lois and though it saddens me that she's not at home where we can be together it gives our family peace of mind knowing she's safe, receives good care and is surrounded by people that like and respect her. I have and will continue to refer anyone in need of this type of service to my friends, family and associates. I'd be happy to answer other questions anyone else might have when I'm at Southtowne visiting Lois. I'm the older fella, thankful that I still have a full head of white hair, that uses a walker and can be seen sitting with my wife. Would be happy to share any other info folks are looking for. As said though, our family is very pleased with the care that Momma is receiving.
