My parents moved into Sunrise in January. The staff was wonderful. Treated them very well and cared for them as I would. The rest of the people that were in charge of Sunrise and the financial area were hard to deal with and constantly gave our family the run around. The food was over cooked and mushy. We were told there was transportation but not informed that it was a service that we paid to and from their appointments.Even though there is a van, but used only for outings. They were in assistant living which in my opinion was a nursing home. People were in and out of their room all day and even when they slept.there wasn't any privacy at all. They charge extra for everything even dispensing their meds. The monthly bills sky rocketed. They are now else where....
