Melbourne Village

we have lived here since 2007. this a local family owned complex for over 55 age. maintenance is handle quickly by chris or kerri who are on site managers and part of the family that own the complex. the complex has activities such as scheduled parties, presentations, cards,bingo,movies and exercise machines. the apartments are well designed and efficient. the lawn care and snow removal is better than any complex i know of in the city. the design of the complex makes it a very safe place to walk at any time. we are a close knit community that help and look out for each other or if you like privacy we respect that too. we are close to emergency services, shopping, some residents here don't even have a car. there is a bus that take you shopping at various major stores , special trips if you sign up with the griswold community center. i think the cost is about 10 or so dollars a year. worthington mall is right across the street. after retiring in florida for 15 years, we moved back here for my cancer treatments and to be with family. i was not happy to move back to ohio and its cold weather, but this place has been my saving grace. if it wasn't for melbourne village ,there is no way would i continue to live here. if you are downsizing, widowed,married or single and looking for a place that is safe , people who care, this might be the home for you. cant hurt to check it out.dave craycraft
