Avenue at Wooster Care and Rehabilitation Center

I cannot thank the staff at Avenue at Wooster enough for the care and attention they gave to our family! The staff was friendly & helpful every step of the way - from the registration process to discharge. Its a beautiful home away from home for anyones loved one!

My mother arrived at The Avenue in February 2019. She started out in the skilled nursing side. I found the staff very attentive, caring and friendly. Yes, there was less staff at night but you will find that at almost every other care facility. This is a newer facility and they are continuously striving to make it a great place for our loved ones to live. The food is very good but remember that every persons' taste is different and your loved one may not like every meal. The great thing is they can order quite a few other items, like a hamburger or hotdog, if they don't like what is being served for that meal.My mom has lived in the assisted living side since August 2019. They have a nurse and an aide to care for the residents and the attention they receive, when needed, is fantastic. Every chance I get I recommend The Avenue to anyone who is considering placing their loved one in a skilled care or assisted living facility. Most importantly, so does my mom.

This place is a joke. Weekends are HORRIBLE. Residents dont get the proper treatment , aides sit on their phones all day. Complete disrespect. This place needs closed.
