We love helping Ohio Living residents who sometimes require a little more help living independently! Working with Ohio Living for over 15 years as a Senior Homecare business has been a pleasure for Visiting Angels. The staff is always looking out for the best for their residents. Management Rebecca, Elaine, Pam, and Amy have all been wonderful to work with through the years as well. We appreciate you!

I worked there with my client extremely RACIST residents there I was told I can't sit in dinning area with my client one lady went so far as to try and strike me they were isolating my resident because I accompanied her in dinning area I went to security I was told no they don't like for African Americans to be in here let alone sit in dinning area also not to go anywhere alone in the buildings and try and stay in camera view my client was very upset because she couldn't help the owner Melissa emailed me to contact her I did same day no reply but not surprised

My grandmother has been a resident of what was formerly known as Breckinridge Village for almost 17 years, and this facilities standards have fallen far below expectation since being purchased by Ohio Living. Many of the previous workers have left or been terminated since said time, and Ohio Living has failed to replace them. For example, one maintenance person is now responsible for an entire building, thus leading to obvious disrepair. From the lobby, to the broken laundry machines, they have failed to address a list of issues that residents have been forced to live with. Those employees who have been hired are detrimentally unqualified for their positions and unable to correctly assist those living there, such as the chefs in the apartments, who scarcely have the wherewithal to prepare nutritious meals. Even if those working in the kitchens cared to cook quality meals, the inefficient kitchens would make that impossible. Security personnel have been cut down to two individuals, who struggle to serve the entire campus. Im not one to leave a review like this, but I do so in the hopes that Ohio Living will finally address the concerns of not only its residents, but their concerned family members.

My mother has been at Fairmont for a post hospital rehab stint for the past week. She is at the point in life where she needs significant assistance. Yesterday was the 'kicker'. I was there at lunch. Went home and something made me decide to go back at dinner. I found that they had put Mom to bed for the night instead of taking her to the dining room for dinner. I She's there to strengthen....that includes eating!!! Despite their complaints, thethrew some clothes on, insisted she didn't have eyeglasses (I found them on the roommates dresser)......for a facility with a good reputation, I am bitterly disappointed.*******Update a week later:. I'm pleasantly surprised after my original review. Once Mom's goals/reason for being there were communicated everything fell into place. The aids and nurses are wonderful!!!!I will update again in another week.
