River Bend House

The River Bend House is the most loving, caring, clean and beautiful assisted living facility. The staff from the director down truly care about all the residents. The director, Kelly, is always making sure residents have what they need and more. She also makes sure she gets to know the residents and their families and forms a great rapport with them. The nursing director, Michelle, is always looking out for the patients needs both medical and physical and advising her nurses accordingly. She too is a very caring person there to help families as well as the residents. The nurses are phenomenal... always paying attention to changes in their patients because they know the residents that well. Jenny, the activities director works very hard ....long hours on and off the job to see that the residents have not only fun things to do but activities that will enhance their daily living. The aides, maintenance and kitchen staff make it a point to form close relationships with the residents and work very closely with them no matter their need(s). Their jobs are hard at times and yet if you ask them to do something they are on it practically right away. They too care deeply for each person they serve. You know your loved one is completely safe, which gives families piece of mind, because the facility has a security system that requires a code to enter and exit. The residents and families have keys to their rooms and mailboxes making privacy a nonissue.There is a beautiful courtyard in the center of the facility where many of the residents like to sit under the covered tables, rock in the swings or enjoy a cool spot under the shade trees.Please know that this facility has an atmosphere of a large family living in a huge house together. You sense it the minute you walk in. You will not get that anywhere else. Its impossible unless you have a staff like you do at The River Bend House. Steve and Candi Boden
