Help from nurses and staff are insufficient.

Not happy with this place. My Mother lived in an apartment on site, she just passed away May1, my family and cleaned out her apartment. I spoke to manager and she said Mom would get her security deposit back. Well I just received a statement indicating they had to replace the carpet. In the State of Ohio you can not keep deposit for carpet wear and tear. She only lived there 4 years. Not the 10 year life expectancy of there said carpet. So they pro rated everything and for just the bedroom carpet $325.12. I am only posting this complaint because I cant do anything about this. My Mom is gone. If she was still alive she would be very upset. Residents live on a fixed income and the Management should have been clear on this.

I do not recommend this place as a job or a home for your loved ones. The work load on the STNAs is too much for the pay they receive. Not to mention the amount of disrespect from nursing staff towards the STNAs who do the heavy lifting. There is a every man for himself atmosphere and don't bother asking for back up from nursing management when you're being wronged. Their work load is also too heavy to handle and they are not interested nor have the time. And frankly, angry about how they are also being treated from those above them. They create loopholes and change policies to insure you don't get what is yours when it comes to PTO, time off for work related injuries, etc etc.

My grandmother has been here twice for rehabilitation. They let her go home way to early, she should of never been released because her legs were not strong enough. The aids also let her sit twenty minutes or longer after shes pushed her button. My family had went up there and she had been in the same clothes for almost three days. We are working on having her moved... I will never allow her to come back to this place. Please make sure you do your research before sending your loved ones.
