I've been with Brookdale Buck Creek for 9mts and the small home environment is friendly, secure, and welcoming! Brookdale uses the Optium Life approach to allow seniors continued growth in all aspects of their life!

I am a cook for Brookdale. I love this place. Everyone is nice and caring. The residents are funny and have awesome personality.

Brookdale Buck Creek is a wonderful assisted living community! The staff is AMAZING! From the administration to the nurses to the CNA's to housekeeping, and everyone in between. They truly treat my dad as if he is part of their family and they strive to accommodate every request. My dad is happy and safe. I'm so thankful we found Springfield's best kept secret!

I work at Brookdale Buck Creek for a year as an employee we get treated very badly by head management. Very understaffed some employees are just a pretty face for Brookdale they don't work when this is brung to Management's attention nothing has ever been done about it. Management makes promises two potential residents and their families that they know ahead of time cannot be kept. I love my job and the residence but Brookdeals rumors get in the way of good employees. I wouldn't have my loved one in this particular facility do to the understaffing. First shift has three employees and second and third shift has two employees even with a full house of 42 rooms. Cheryl told one of the employees that even if every room was filled with 2 party assist they would only ever have two people on third shift work harder and faster!! They just dont care sad but true!! Every few good employees in this place maybe 2 tops.

This place is horrible. Very understaffed and the residents are ignored.
