Dont take your loved ones here.... trust me! I worked at Hillspring for 10 years and loved it, loved my coworkers and got along with every boss that ever worked there... I did my job, I was flexible, and efficient. The DON and ADON are amazing but the administrator is a nightmare, which ultimately any decisions about your loved one lies in her hands. She has a dance degree and then took a three week course to become an administrator. And it truly shows from an insiders perspective. She is ultimately concerned about money because she receives a bonus based on certain criteria, not the safety and quailuty of care the patients receive. She has the social service department interview patients who are not cognitively intact and ask for permission to write a five star review as well as fake made up reviews from any staff she can get to write one. You must ask why I no longer work there? After I was begged to come back after obtaining a new job for a better schedule (salary, mon-fri, no weekend or holiday) the dream job for anyone... I went back to Hillspring after they agreed to a certain schedule. When I was 8 1/2 months pregnant (high risk pregnancy with multiple appts a week) Zan made the decision to completely remove me from the schedule due to my inability to agree to a 12 hour shift schedule (yes, 8 1/2 months pregnant and very high risk after they begged me to come back to an agreed upon schedule) I was left with no hours or income. Upon my time to return after maternity leave I thought it was best to part ways with the company as I didnt agree with the way they treated their employees or residents. Multiple people I worked with for course of my ten years of employment are no longer employees at Hillspring due to reasons listed above. I have watched this woman basically put people on the streets if it isnt making her money without a care in the world. Think twice before you commit.

This place is absolutely Horrible !!!! I must say my grandma went here for rehab was here for 22 days when we got a call she was unresponsive... come to find out there was never any rehab done she was left in a bed for 22 days ! She was moved 3 times during her 22 days and we had no clue of why she wasnt answering her phone needless to say with some fluids and food grandma is starting therapy at HOME !! I beg you please dont leave your loved ones here !! P.S. her shoes and eye glasses were also lost during her 22 day stay they found the shoes but not the glasses

Absolutely terrible experience with the care provided to my grandmother. There was zero sense of urgency from the staff when it came to her care. Scheduling of hospice was constantly delayed and disorderly. The nurse call would remain on for thirty minutes before a nurse would finally come to the room, and often it took physically calling for a nurse in order to receive care. Keep your loved ones out of this place.

The staff at Hillspring are some of the most caring and attentive people I have ever had the pleasure of working with in the healthcare field.They go above and beyond to care for their guests from prior to admit through discharge.I would trust them to not only care for my loved ones, but for myself if needed.Thanks Hillspring!
