Where do I start? The Portland Place is a gem that shines so bright! So much love and care from the staff that cares for our loved ones. My family decided to bring my dad to Portland Place on January 4, 2020. For the 21days my dad was there, the staff took care of my dad. His room was always clean as well as the bathroom and his clothes and bed sheets were cleaned and put back in place. This place has so much to offer. My family's favorite night was 'Family Night.' We had so much fun singing Karaoke songs and ending the night with my 9 year old daughter requesting everyone to join her and sing, 'Oh Susannah.' All the residents did. My dad passed on January 25th, 2020 and though he was there a short time, he felt blessed for such a great wonderfull staff taking care of him.Thank You

I would HIGHLY recommend Portland Place Assisted Living to anyone who is looking for a place for their loved one. We had to put my dad into an assisted living and the Staff and workers went above and beyond taking care of my dad before he passed. Portland Place staff is the best Staff (and workers) we have ever worked with! Prior to my dad's arrival, the Staff explained everything in detail and what to expect and answered every single question we asked. When my dad passed, the Staff still assisted us with whatever we needed and even cried with us!. It is a shame that this place is being over looked when it should not be. To anyone who reads this, take my word please give this place a try and do not over look!
