I was a child that lived here from 13 to 18 and although I didnt relise it at the time I'm truly thankful for them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Alright so this isn't my real name, for safety reasons, but I was here for a year, and this January marked my 1 year out. This place changed my life. I came here broken and dirty and hurting, and when I left I had to get over my reputation. That wasn't hard, though because of how much I changed. I am so much more mentally healthy and relationships with my family and friends definitely benefited from my stay. I don't know where I would be without Midwestern. When I was here, I was angry. I would have written an awful review. I couldn't see that I was changing. If you have a kid with behavioral/social/mental problems, and they need a place to go to get help, this is the place to do it. The staff really do care and although it is hard to see it at first, they want you to get better and they are there to help you. Once you gain trust and show that you are willing to try and change, you are given much more freedom and opportunities and being here isn't that bad. I also became much closer to Christ. I will never forget my time here, and although it was scary and dark at first, I see that this place was my lighthouse, my lifesaver. Thanks Midwestern, and thanks Ms. faye. :)
