I recommended this facility to a dear friend because another friend of mine was there five years ago and I was so impressed. My current friend had never heard of Whitewood and was prepared to go in another home. I basically talked my friend intogoing here. The staff mainly Tracy in my opinion is not respectful because I am just a friend and not family. It's too bad she hasn't learned that sometimes friends care almost as much as their own family does. She is having me rethink my position on this home. I would be reluctant to suggest it to someone else based on her behavior and also how the quality of food has changed.I appreciate your comments, Shelley. I am aware that you are not able to discuss health concerns but the matter was about his room. Nothing more. Thank you for your answer!

Do not put your memory care loved ones in this facility. They have a large turnover in the STNA staff. They do not have a dietician to provide diabetic meal selections. You much provide your own sugar-free food. Charge extra for EVERYTHING including gloves to handle your loved one. They do not have staff that are specially trained to handle dementia patients. I would NEVER recommend The Inn at Whitewood Village to anyone. I only gave one star because I had to. I would give them a minus stars if I could.
