Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care

Thank you for the wonderful care you gave my dad recently, while he was receiving rehab at your facility for a few weeks. It was comforting knowing he was getting such great care when I could not be there. The Therapy team did a great job getting him back home quickly. The activity team did a wonderful job keeping him occupied with lots of Bingo, an ice cream party, church and other events so he wasn't bored, he was so thankful there was lots to do everyday during his stay! Thank you all again for the great care he received. Having never been to a facility before, his experience at Kirtland Rehab was good. From the nurses, aides, kitchen staff, cleaners, activities, social workers, therapy and everyone in between. Great Job. We would recommend the facility to others.

Great leadership and amazing customer service

My Mom was there when it was Golden Living and the place went down hill fast. I considered moving her. When the new Management took over I was skeptical, but hung in there. When they hired the new Administrator she took the building in a whole new direction and things have really started to turn around. Now they have a great team in place, from the Director of Nursing to the Director of the Dementia unit. I am glad we stayed. Don't let the older building fool you, the on floor aides and nurses are really great and I'm glad we stayed. Completely satisfied.

The facility was very clean but in my opinion would be even cleaner if theemployees used the designated break room equipped with utility size trash cans to throw food and drink away, the reason this is important is due to the increasingly growing ant population i found there to be in the rehab room offices, and especially the receptionist area, I wasn't aware that ant extermination was part of my job!!!! it always baffled me how when i would check the break room there was hardly anyone ever in there. it was checked periodically through out the day and trash cans were usually low but i would find spilled drinks, food and overflowing garbage such as large pizza boxes in the receptionists small trash can, the copy room, and some of the empty patient rooms (that really puzzled me) to throw so much in such a small waist paper basket that is more equipped for paper and tissues hence causing food and drink to spill and overflow thus causing ants and other critters per say.

Joy is the best nurse there is at golden living. She is so extra.
