I was at StoryPoint on the 28th last month visiting my grandma in MC and I have to say I was kind of unimpressed! I was very impressed by the care staff so I have to say thank you to them. However walking back towards the other locked side seeing an employee in her office on Her work laptop and also facetiming her boyfriend or fiancee was really surprising! The door said 'Life Enrichment Director'. I know it was during grandmas lunch time but I think this looks really unprofessional to your community. Couldn't she find an employee break room space?? I went to ask other employees at the desk and they said 'Savana' does this all the time. I just want to make sure all of my grandmother's social needs are being met as well.

I Love working for this company! They strive to be the best, they are very employee and resident oriented. Our residents become like family to all of us. Employees work together as a team to accomplish the goal to have exemplary care, I am thankful for how well the caregivers and nurses work together. The building is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, one of the cleanest facilities I have been to. Don't just take my word for it come and see for yourself, take a tour or come visit any time. Consider us to be apart of your family!

I have held back my feelings for a few months, but I am truly infuriated with StoryPoint. We signed a lease with them for one year for my grandma. On the lease, there is a part that says something about how if we want to get out of our lease, we have to cancel before a certain date, if not, the lease will auto-renew for another year. We only discovered this after we tried to give our notice that we were vacating (assuming we were paying month to month since we did not sign a new lease), which was about 3 months after the lease renewed. My 83 year old grandma is confused as is, a place thats supposedly in it for our elderly, wouldnt try to scam them. My grandma absolutely hates it there, which she made us aware of after the lease renewal. The food is really unfavorable by a majority of the residents, takes forever, and theyre constantly running out of food. My grandma has social anxiety (thats gotten worse since being there) and she isnt even able to utilize the social activities. The activities department, despite her inability to attend events, are the only redeeming part of StoryPoint, as I believe they do truly try to make it special for them. For a place with such a beautiful appearance, the quality given is not worth $4,000+ a month. Despite our desperate pleas to let her move out early (and coincidentally they get a new resident), they are refusing to let us out of the lease they trapped us in. Thats at the minimum $28,0000 of care she has been robbed from StoryPoint. My heart breaks every time we go see her there. Dont make our mistake. In addition, if you look, half of the reviews on here are from employees that work here. They are truly in it for the money. Its so disheartening to see a company with these values.

The place is beautiful went through the hiring process and interview the person the interview me said I was I hired and she really like me and said I would be a good fit to the company I have a old misdemeanor on my record thats 6 years old I was honest with them and let them know how the situation happened and everything so waited and waited on a call back for them to tell me that I wouldnt be able to work there Im not a bad person I understand the rules and regulations dealing with seniors but I told them it wasnt my fault I feel like everyone deserve a second chance in life and also I feel like communicating should be way better because when recruiters call you and set you up for interview and after the interview one person saying you are hired and the next person saying they have to check with there boss basically getting a person all excited and happy about a better opportunity with a job I feel like they should have an HR in the same state where the facility is located at I feel like running a business from far away is very unprofessional because you have to sit and wait for recruiters to talk to there bosses boss....
