Meadow Grove Transitional Care

It's hard to say what kind of care you're loved ones are getting when you can't be there and spend time inside. We did witness from sitting outside my mom's window that she received no lunch. Had to call to get her lunch and then tell the person to help her sit up so she could eat. Just wondering how much of this goes on when we're not watching.

Meadow Grove brought my Mom back to health. The staff and management have and will do everything they can to ensure residents are safe, clean, happy and well cared for. My Mom calls Meadow Grove home. It is far above any other long-term care facility we have ever visited or used in Central Ohio and South Florida. There are high quality nurses and personal care staff, a top-notch nutritionist, excellent administrative staff, and pleasant dining spaces where you can meet the chef, caregivers and other residents, There is a fun variety of activities, and good choices of healthy food, The receptionist and her family provide stunning decorations for every holiday. It is unreal how beautifully decorated it is at Christmas. I am kept updated consistently and immediately about anything unusual, I participate in scheduled monthly update meetings, and can always get my Mom and her caregivers on the phone 24/7. All rooms are private, giving each resident dignity and space to turn into a real place to live. Even before Covid-19, I witnessed even door frames and ceilings being wiped down, in addition to day in, day out thorough cleaning all the time Communication with medical and support staff is excellent. When there are issues - as there will be with anyone of advanced age or with multiple medical conditions - these issues are handled transparently and put the residents needs first. The management are proactive in always working towards excellence, rather than saying its good enough. I see them always working towards having the right vendors and services available. After having multiple negative experiences with prior home health care and residential facilities, my Mom, the rest of our family and I are grateful for the loving care my Mom has received for the past two years since Meadow Grove opened its doors.

Meadow Grove has an exceptional team who go above and beyond to meet the needs of their patients. I would highly recommend!

There were so many positive experiences we had when my sister was a patient at Meadow Grove. My sister had multiple needs, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing care, etc. and each department showed the same caring and compassion when treating her. Their understanding of her condition allowed her recovery to be swift and she was able to return to her home. If not for the knowledge and involvement of the staff, I don't believe she would have returned home as quickly. Thank you all for your compassion and assistance in what was a very fearful time for all of us. Your assurances kept us all hopeful. I would recommend Meadow Grove to any family who is considering transitional care or permanent care for their loved ones.

Both the facility and staff were wonderful, and the level of care provided was just fantastic. My wife was lucky enough to go here for rehab after surgery, She had been in quite a few facilities in her fight with cancer, and none compared to Meadow Grove. Everyone was friendly and professional, the nursing staff was top notch, and the building and grounds were beautiful. Even the food was good. I highly recommend.
