My Dad lives there. The marketers will brag about the food, but it's nothing special. I've eaten there with my Dad. The portions are stingy, and the food is no better than 'edible.' The fixtures inside the apartments are as cheap as possible. In the first two weeks he was there, the flimsy closet doors came off-track and had to be fixed twice. The a/c is inadequate to cool his small one-bedroom apartment. It's in the living room, and the bedroom is uncomfortably hot. The only advantages of living there are that everything is close by, and the rent is not outrageous. They don't require an unrealistic upfront 'buy-in' like many other places. They have activities, and are allowed to have pets. They don't seem to care if a pet is vicious or not, though. Also, there NO EXCUSE for having only one elevator. Moving in was ridiculous. I'd give it fewer stars if it cost one penny more than the 2400/month my Dad is paying. In our possible price range, sadly, it was the best we could afford. Other places in the area have MUCH higher fees & rent, though, so we knew it wasn't going to be deluxe. And it certainly is not.

I had a very informative and professional conversation with Tom Baker who provided answers to all of my questions. He could not have been more responsive. I hope circumstances allow us to work together soon.
