Miller Farm Place

We just moved my Dad into Miller Farm Place. With all the Covid stuff going on and having so many restrictions regarding the facilities I was experiencing a lot of road blocks and anxiety. It was so last minute having to get him out of rehab and into an assisted living facility and I was scared to say the least. I had a hard time finding a place that would work with me and help move him in right now due to no visitors allowed in nursing/assisted living facilities. Miller Farm was terrific. They were fast at getting him assessed by a Zoom call and within days we had the ball rolling. They scheduled many zoom meetings with the rehab facility and with me making sure I got a virtual tour of the facility, answering all of my questions and to go over everything. It was hard not being able to physically meet them or physically get a tour of the facility but I was very pleased with how much time Jane took with me. They provided my Dad with a room equipped with the large furnishings since I couldnt bring his own stuff due to Covid restrictions. I was able to drop off a lot of his smaller personal items at the door where they sanitized everything before putting it in to his studio. I was very impressed by how organized they were and how many safety procedures they had put into place to make sure my Dad and the other residents were safe but still meet their needs. This has been one of the hardest things I have had to go through and especially right now with our world being the way that it is. It is so nice to have people who truly care and understand what a big step this is for both the resident and their families. They have set up times so that our family can have a zoom call with my Dad so we can see his face and he can see ours already and I am very excited. Also my Dad was very pleased with how good their food was, thats a big deal to him!!
