Villa at the Lake

I started going to the Villa when my mother in law moved in. After countless visits and being a part of many activities, I can tell you that the Villa at the Lake is first class all the way. Assisted living how it is supposed to be.Thank you Villa and staff for such a nice facility and the care you provide.

My Mom resided at the Villa from 2006 until her death in February of 2016. She considered the Villa her home. The management and staff became members of her extended family. Every employee at the Villa treats each resident as they would a member of their own family. It is not uncommon to see the dining wait staff, kitchen staff, a manager or housekeeping pushing a wheelchair down the hall or assisting a resident in whatever manner might be required. Residents concerns are met with care and compassion. I personally spent many hours visiting my Mom under both normal and crisis conditions. Not only were her needs taken care of but the staff also made sure that I was also included in the Villa 'family'. I had peace of mind knowing that although I lived in MN I could depend on the staff to treat my Mom with respect and to keep me informed whenever something needed my attention. If my Mom was hospitalized or in a rehab facility the staff would visit her on their own time. I simply cannot say enough good things about each and every employee.

Just wanted to tell you how pleased we are with The Villa in Conneaut, OH. We were told three months ago when my 93 year old father moved in that it was important to the owners that all of their facilities were managed with a quality family atmosphere. All of the staff seem to echo that caring attitude. We just had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at The Villa with my dad and we were impressed to be greeted by Christopher and Jannelle Randall. They drove all the way from Michigan to be there in person to celebrate Thanksgiving with the residents and families. Our three month evaluation deserves a five star rating because of their dedicated owners, staff and well maintained facility.

My loved one has been a resident at the Villa at the Lake for almost 6 years. As a family member I truly appreciate the way every staff member makes the residents and family members feel at home. I never have to worry about mom, I know that she is well taken care of. Staff members always greet us with friendly smiles and mom with warm and loving hugs.
