FV doesn't have enough staffing in the memory care or skilled nursing units. My mother had Alzheimer's and walked out the door to the courtyard at night in 30 degree weather and fell. Nobody was sure how long she was out there. She suffered a broken arm and ankle and a fractured orbital bone. She was returned to the skilled facility a week later. In the skilled faculty she was being fed food she couldn't chew by an aide that was cramming it in her mouth as fast as she could. They also left off her oxygen. Nobody had time to answer my Mom's call light. We waited 45 minutes and I went to the nurses station to talk to a really nasty nurse. My mom died a week later. Turn those beds and make that money.
