Putting a parent into a nursing facility is one of lifes hardest things. You feel, and will for sometime that you have failed at caring for that parent. That feeling will pass. My mother has been in the Genesis facility in Bryan OH for almost 2 years now. Has everything been perfect, no. Has she liked EVERY meal she has eaten there, no. Has she been treated with respect and given as much care and support as possible in such a big facility, absolutely! These are the people I trust with my mothers life and welfare. They have not let me down at all! Of course these are just my observations. Someone elses take on the facility could be completely different!
