As I am learning, a facility is only as good as their staff. One bad apple can ruin things. So previously when my 92 year old mother used the rehab center at Trinity, the one person was removed and she had an adequate stay. I will say that the PT Joe was fantastic, last time and this time as well.A year later she returned to get her strength back after a virus. She could not get the medical care she requested. She had to make her own appointment with her personal doctor, and arrange transportation to get there (she uses a wheelchair, but is in a bed still due to virus). When she arrived she was immediately taken to Soin ER - 'congestive heart failure due to stress'. She had been in the care of Trinity for the previous 9 days.Update: the owner response is not appropriate to my post. They resolved nothing, my mother left there without their help. Which just confirms the problems at Trinity . . . sad

Because Trinity is on 'lockdown' to protect their residents, family members should be able to contact staff to find out how patients are doing.

My Mom was admitted to their 'fast track rehab'. She shared a room which would be fine, but the room was not set up for that. Everything there was so outdated. The chairs in the room are old,and very uncomfortable so we brought her recliner for the rest of her stay. She was there 21 days and had TWO showers. Just about every evening I went there, washed her up,made sure she had her pain meds for bed since they put them prn-my Mom has dementia, and put her to bed. They had phones in the room, neither worked. I asked if there was some extra charge I needed to pay,and was told they would put a work order in,but never fixed in 21 days!! I asked for them to please take her for a wash, cut style. All they did was hack most of her hair off,no shampoo, dry,or anything, charged me 30$!! The food was brought down from another wing to a small dining room, usually cold, and not very appetizing. While visiting, several times, the staff stood out in the hall complaining about working short, and that management didn't care. Every day I visited, there were more nursing pool, than regular employees. Also concerning...I work at a hospital and would stop in after work, sometimes 11pm,and the doors were never locked. I brought my Mom home and the home therapy did more than their facility. So...PLEASE be aware!!!

I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life by a woman named Florence. I called trying to retrieve information about my sick grandfather and was either ignored, hung up on, given a fake number to call, or pretend put on hold 6 times. It took me 30 minutes to get ahold of an employee that actually took care of me and went above and beyond. However during those 6 calls to Florence, I overheard her telling a woman that 'if you don't want to eat your dinner, you'd better just take your pills and go to sleep then.' Florence was incredibly ill-tempered and grossly incompetent at handling the elderly and also helping the worried family. While Florence is still working there I would never recommend somebody trusting there loved one to live there. The rest my my experience with Trinity was adequate

I was a guest speaker at Trinitys health fair. The staff were welcoming, professional, and kind. While preparing for my presentation I had a computer glitch the staff was readily available to assist me. I visited a neighbor, who had recently become a resident. My neighbor had been placed on memory lane. I was impressed with the nursing staff. They were personal, informative, and very attentive!
