Such a delightful place my friend has moved to. She has a lovely apartment, has made great friends and is enjoying so many planned activities. I have enjoyed several delicious dinners there with her. Five of her friends visited and we said it was a 5 star !!!!

The Kempton at Brightmore has a serious theft problem. My mother had $10,000 of gold jewelry stolen while she was at the hospital, rehab and Hospice. The administrator was less than interested and cooperative about taking action. My family had to go to the police to file a report. The caregivers were for the most part friendly and caring but once my mother's level of care increased the family had to constantly stay on them to consistently attend to her needs.

Brightmore is okay, HOWEVER, Morrison, the company that was sub-contracted out to make their food is for lack of a better word atrocious. They feed the residents frozen seafood with imitation crab meat and so on. I know cause I was the line cook for over 4 months and they didn't even try to get me my first check the whole 4 months, and they don't even know how to cook. Instead of a restaurant it felt more like a prison, and I worked at over 10 restaurants in my career.
