My Mother was here for 5 years in the dementia unit. She was ok as long as she could walk and feed herself but her condition worsened from day one. When she got to where she couldn't walk or feed herself she wasted away and developed bedsores, where they wouldnt turn her, one was 4' x 6'. They said they could take care of their residents until the end but if your loved one cant walk or feed themselves i would look for a nursing home for them.

My uncles room is never clean and he seldom if ever gets a bath...he is in dementia unit...I feel so sorry for these people...I hope he can find a better place to live...this place is nasty
