My experience there was wretched. My meds were stolen by trusted medtechs, my room was searched and pilfered from regularly, and there were three (3) fires while I was there. Someone disabled the alarm system, and 'cried wolf' several times which led to the Firemen concluding that the alarm system was at fault. Later there was a fire in the room I shared. The program director wanted to have me arrested for arson. Honestly speaking, I'm probably more careful about fire prevention than smokey the bear.WHAT A RIPOFF.

My wife and I recently visited a friend who is now a resident at Carteret House and were pleasantly surprised at the agreeable surroundings and ambiance . It appeared to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our friend's room was spacious and well appointed. The common areas were nicely furnished and welcoming. The residents whom we encountered all seemed to be happy and content. We would not hesitate to recommend Carteret House to anyone.

Employees are horrible! I was offered a job here. I worked two days and had enough! None of the aides attended to the residents in time. They felt it was gonna be when they wanted too. Some were on their cell phones. One girl didn't lock wheel chairs as transporting. Another girl threw dirty linen on floor. I was disgusted, i had quit. Don't even trust these people.
