As a member of Leadership Craven, I recently had the privilege of attending an especially informative presentation at Home Place. The presenter, Catherine Lawrence gave the most comprehensive overview of Senior Living options, and the subsequent care considerations I've heard. The thoroughness of training, knowledge of the industry, and sincere concern for the Home Place residents is impressive and apparent. This visit made me aware of senior living options I had not considered before. Great to know you are there.

I have visited and reviewed a variety of assisted living/memory care facilities in three state search for what will be best for my wife. My initial experience with Home Place of New Bern, their staff, at all levels but most particularly Catherine Lawrence, Director of Admissions, has convinced me that the level of professionalism, standards, attention to quality of care for their residents and strong sense of mission makes this the best choice for assisting with the care for my wife. Missed medications for 8 days caused a septic reaction for our Mom. We have retained an attorney and reported the abuse to the police. Do not put your family here!

The entire staff at Home Place was professional and very kind to my mom Cecelia during her stay there..and I recommend Home Place to any family whose loved one needs special care. Sincere thanks to Jerry the head nurse ..you were incredible in your care of my mom.
